Interference from high cloud prevented me from imaging until the sky was darkening. Seeing however was not too bad & with Venus still reasonably high in the sky the capture went reasonably well, except that the critical UV capture was aborted after only about 8000 frames when cloud drifted across. I've developed a new processing technique which has been successful in revealing a definite crescent shaped cloud marking in the ultra violet image ... but the short imaging run means that the UV image is noisier than it should be. Having grabbed Venus the sky was dark enough to have a go at making a mosaic of the thin 3 day crescent Moon. Again there was some minor problems with thin drifting cloud but the result has come out not too bad. Click on the image (twice) for full size version (2000 x 3200 pixels) which is annotated with lunar & instrumentation detail.
