Lots of cloud cover breaking as darkness set in. Decided to have a go at Venus anyway as the seeing was reasonable ... but with reducing altitude the UV image was very faint, forcing a reduction in focal length. I've compensated for the lost focal length by resizing the images in post-processing. Worked reasonably well, there's even a bit of very subtle detail in the UV image, showing that the light S polar cap which has been common this spring appears to have gone.
