Yet another calm day with a transparent blue sky! The best weather in this part of the world is usually April/May; prolonged periods of "summer" weather are unusual at any time of the year but unheard of in early March! At least the temperatures are bearable: -5C overnight, +10C in the afternoons. The Sun's appearance is similar to yesterday. Prominences are a bit more interesting, the filaments remain, the only significant change is a small bright plage near the NE limb. 2010 Mar 10, 1031 UT.
