Clouds finally parted today around lunchtime to give me my first chance at AR 1029. This spot has been growing for the last few days and has fired off a number of flares. It's a very complex group as can be seen by the mass of smaller spots coming behind. North is "up" in this image of around 370 frames. Prime focus of ETX90mm with Philips TouCam and Thousand Oaks glass filter type 2+.

Nicely caught John - lots of detail there, it almost looks like a shotgun has been fired at close range!
