Hi all,
The IAU have given 2003 UB313 , the dwarf planet its official name. It is Eris- the greek goddess of strife. Eris according to mythology was the daughter of Nyx which was the name given recently to one of the 2 new satellites found around Pluto. 2003 UB313 has a satellite which has been named Dysnomia - a daughter of Eris. Dysnomia represented lawlessness in greek mythology.
Avery apt name for UB313, considering the tension and debate at Prague when they demoted Pluto.
