This isn't an especially good image as by the time I realised what was happening Venus was very low so this was shot through a lot of haze and LP, but this is the close pass of Venus by M35 last night. Clear skies, Paul.

Still a good shot Paul, composition is more important, so it's lucky that Venus has helpfully composed itself beside the 7 sisters!

Got a slightly better one tonight. The movement of Venus through the sky is very apparent between the two shots. Clear skies, Paul.

Very good capture Paul. The movement of Venus in relation to the cluster is very obvious between your two images. I was hoping somebody would have imaged this pairing.
