This is the very last image I was able to get of 953. Taken yesterday at 1247UT it is 480 frames in Registax with the ETX 90mm and Toucam. If you look closely you may be able to make out the "Wilson Effect" as a depression. This effect was first noticed in 1769 by Dr Alexander Wilson of Glasgow. It can also sometimes be seen as a mound effect, but is only visible near the east or west limbs.

Yes John, the Wilson effect is clearly visible - I'll admit to not knowing it was called that! It's a great series of shots you've got there and a bit of a shame that 953 didn't let us have it with both barrels on the way around, but maybe next time??
