Hi Folks, A big thank you to all the keen observers who attended Delamont last night. It was an excellent turnout. It's just a pity that the clouds rolled in after such a crystal clear start. Hopefully we will use this venue again soon. Kind regards Pook

Hello Philip, Yes, a great site. I had a brief look at M45 with my 200mm dob using a 50.1 35mm Orion deepsky eyepiece. I was almost convinced that I could see the nebulosity arund some of the stars. David checked my scope with his laser collimator, and it was miles out. I normally collimate with a cheshire eyepiece, so I think I will consign it to the bin and invest in one of those laser things.
