OK, here's the results of processing the AVIs shot in hydrogen alpha this lunchtime. (Additional delay due to residents association monthly meeting!) The area around AR1045: 2010 Feb 08, 1312 UT. The humungous quiescent filament: 2010 Feb 08, 1324 UT. Solarscope 60, x4 Imagemate (f/32), DMK21. AR1046 in closeup: 2010 Feb 08, 1325 UT. Solarscope 60, x4 Imagemate (f/32), DMK21. The new AR on the east limb. Doesn't look much in Ha: 2010 Feb 08, 1326 UT. Solarscope 60, x4 Imagemate (f/32), DMK21. Proms on the north east limb: 2010 Feb 08, 1314 UT. These are excellent results Brian, and it just goes to show that Cycle 24 is finally happening, even maybe making up for lost time a bit!
