Hi, I have not read all your previous posts so I dont know if you have already answered this, but what setup are you using for your images of mars? Im trying to get some images myself but not much luck so far, although i have found that my collimnation was off slightly and since i tweaked it im now seeing more than a red blur. Got 400 frames last Thursday night before it got too cloudy and some detail can be seen, havent tried yet to upload an image, but im working on it. Im using a neximage on a celesttron se6, got dslr last week but not used it yet.
Looking forward to your next images
Paddyman

Hello Padddyman, My set up is somewhat ancient. I was using a Beacon Hill 130mm F9 refractor, on a 28year old Super Polaris mount on top of a home made tripod. The imaging stuff was a Philips SPC900NC webcam with a 4X imagemate plus a Vista laptop. The videos were processed in Registax4 with contrast enhancement in Corel paint shop pro X2. Regards, Virgo
