Hi all,I am relatively new (inexperienced) to Astronomy but have just bought myself a reasonable telescope and am keen to learn about our fantastic skies... I am from Armagh and have fairly clear skies where i am, but dont know half time what I am looking at and whether my equipment is operating as it should be.. I have seen some fantastic views of the moon and reasonable views of Jupiter and Saturn, but i am keen to explore.. Is there any advice as to where to go next?? BTW, hi to everyone.. Great site too and I have enjoyed reading the posts..
Thanks in advance..
Stephen..

Hi Stephen,
I presume that you are a member of the Association and receive Stardust? I always find it to be a great source of information.

Hi Alan, I am not a full member of the Association as yet, but fully intend to join at some stage.. Now that the darker nights will be drawing in, I am keen to get going again and attend a few events when they all start up.. I'll be keeping my eyes open now to see what is happening.. Thanks, Stephen.
