Hi folks, Finally, after months of poor weather, I'm pleased to announce that there will be an IAA observing session tonight, 16-12-11, at Delamont Country Park, starting around 7.30pm. Usual conditions apply, please be there before 9pm, wrap up warmly, and bring something hot to eat/drink etc. If you need some advice on your telescopes and binoculars, bring them along too. Conditions may be misty with the possibilty of showers around midnight, so be prepared to pack up quickly! Temperatures will be below zero, so please drive carefully on any B roads and the entrance drive to the car park, as these may not be gritted. See you all there! And if I don't see you there, a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from the IAA See you at the New Year Party!! David Stewart (observing coordinator)

Sorry Davey and all, that I could not make it tonight. Saturday would have been better for me but sometime you must go with the weather! Hope all enjoy the observing and Clear Skies. George.

Hi Folks,
Thanks to all who attended Delamont last night, another great night under glorious skies and good craic as well! The clouds rolled in by 11.30pm by which time we had already done 3 hours of observing.
Lets hope 2012 brings a lot more clear skies ;D
Regards David
