Here's a heads-up - There will be a lovely conjunction of The thin crescent Moon and Mars in the 2 hours before dawn (roughly 0430 - 0630) tomorrow AM (Thurs 25th). Gemini stars Mebsuta and Alhena will straddle the Moon with Mars also close. Well worth getting up early for!

Yeah - pretty clear night for a change, unfortunately there was thin cloud low in the east which was very persistent & spoiled the view of this conjunction. The Moon & Mars will still be fairly close tomorrow am and Castor & Pollux join in the pattern so here's hoping ...
BTW I didn't get up early - stayed up all night, had breakfast at 5am (BST) then went to bed 8-P
