Hi Folks,
Unfortunately, due to cloudy and damp conditions, the observing session for Friday 10th Dec' is cancelled. The forecast for Sat' is showing no improvement, but do check this forum again around 6pm tomorrow night for an update on that.

Hi folks,
Unfortunately, the weather has beaten us again, so tonight's observing is cancelled. The BBC weather forecast shows clear weather moving in from the east, however this may not reach Co Down until around 10 or 11pm, so its not worthwhile.
If you want to check out the latest telescope equipment, please come along to our next meeting on 15th Dec', at QUB. Titled "Hands on Telescopes" this is a chance to compare different types of scopes, and maybe pick up a bargain or 2 at our bring and buy sale!
Our next planned observing is a special event on 3rd January 2011 - Quadrantid Meteor Observing - 6:30PM at Delamont Country Park - in association with BBC Stargazing Live! Keep an eye on the website for more info, and of course Terry's emails!
See you all there
David.
