Hi Everyone, The next planned Observing night will either be on 3rd or 4th Dec. at Delamont Country Park from about 7.30pm on. Please check the Forum at 6.00pm to ensure it's going ahead. Hope to see you there. Pook

I was looking for an update about the Armagh planetarium night. The updates are all posted here aren't they?

Hi Martinus, The planetarium night was last Tuesday the 16th. It is mentioned on the front page (maybe should have been also mentioned on the forum?). Although it was a great night indoors the weather was cloudy & there was no outdoor observing (everyone got a showing on the stardome though). Sorry you missed the event.

The observing updates go here because they are weather dependent. Events that I put on the front page under "Upcoming Events" in the column on the left can be taken as definitely happening - eg Lectures at QUB, Planetarium nights etc which are not going to be rained off.
One project I have in mind is to convert the website - ie the front page and other pages - to a Content Management System that doesn't require authoring software and an FTP connection to update. This will enable a greater number of people to contribute to the website and will ease the management of items enabling easier, more frequent updates. One for the New Year!
Paul.

Ah, I assumed that since the front page had TBC (and still does) that nobody had posted a go/no-go message.
