Hello, Last night ( the 8th ) was nice and clear, but the condensation simply ran off the telescope, and eyepieces fogged up in minutes. However, I stayed up to have a go at imaging Mars, and by 2.0am the planet was well up in the North East, but by that time wispy cirrus was starting to cover the sky so I got a few minutes of AVI. The seeing was terrible, so I reluctantly packed it in about 2.30am. The image of Mars showed nothing but a blurry blob. Regards, Virgo.

Yeah, I found that too - jet stream passing overhead = mobile weather & rotten smeared seeing. Still I prefer that to solid cloud!
