Hi folks, There will be an IAA observing session tonight, 7-12-12, at Delamont Country Park, starting around 7.30pm. Just drive in through the main gates and go to the main car park. I'd rate weather conditions as mostly clear with a possiblity of localised mist. Temperatures will be below zero so take care on any untreated roads I'm not sure whether the road just outside Killyleagh is still closed so be prepared to detour............also with localised public demonstrations there may be some roads closed. Usual conditions apply, wrap up warmly, and bring something to eat/drink etc. Our targets will be the winter constellations and of course Jupiter. I'd especially like to take this opportunity to welcome any new members and non members, indeed anyone interested in astronomy and telescopes etc, to come along with any telescopes/binoculars for some advice. See you there.............. David B Stewart (observing coordinator)

Enjoy all, sorry I can't make it, I'll be talking to Bangor Camera Club about photographing the night sky, and if it's clear we may get a look at it ourselves, though sadly from a light polluted location.
Clear Skies,
Paul.
