Hi folks, There will be an IAA observing session tonight, 21-9-12, at Delamont Country Park, starting around 7.30pm. The 22-9-12 is "International Observe the Moon Night" but the weather for tonight looks better so we may as well take advantage of our opportunities! If you haven't seen the moon through a big telescope before, you are in for a treat Just drive in through the main gates and go to the main car park. Usual conditions apply, wrap up warmly, and bring something to eat/drink etc. Our targets will be the summer milky way and if clear later on, a look at the mighty Jupiter! I'd especially like to take this opportunity to welcome any new members and non members, indeed anyone interested in astronomy and telescopes etc, to come along with any telescopes/binoculars for some advice and a bit of craic! You can ring me on my mobile at 07808736963 David B Stewart (observing coordinator)
