Hi all, Unfortunately, tonights planned Lunar observing session is cancelled due to bad weather I had hoped the wet weather front would have blown through by this evening, but there just isn't enough air in the upper aptmosphere to push it through in time for us tonight in Delamont. Skies will clear the east coast around 5-6am, so tomorrow's weather looks great all day, but heavy rain is forecast for Saturday night..........wouldn't you know it!! However it may still be clear in the early part of the evening just after sunset until about 7pm. If so, I'll be there around 5pm with a portable scope for a quick look at Jupiter, Uranus and the Moon Please check the forum again tomorrow around 3pm for an update, or you can ring me on 07808736963 See you then (Ihope!!) David.

Hi all, The BBC weather forecast is showing increasing cloud by 6pm with rain and sleet for Sat' evening, so once again unfortunately tonight is cancelled If I thought we could even get a couple of hours of observing done in the early part of the evening, then I'd be happy to proceed, but alas, not to be. I'd like to keep our options open for the 25th-26th, hopefully we'll get better astronomy weather by then, I think we deserve it by now! David.
