Managed to get some detail on Mars this morning despite rather unsteady (& very damp!) air. 2009 Oct 21, 0605 UT. CM=335 Celestron CPC1100, 2x barlow, Imaging Source DMK41 camera, Astronomik type 2c colour seperation filters.

That's good Brian, you've got a good icecap there and excellent colour. Just goes to show the red planet is getting bigger now in the runup to January's opposition!
