The second target of Friday night last was M31. Approx 40 sub frames comprising about one and a half hours were stacked as before. Considering the moderate light polluton from Dungannon I think the Epsilon 180 has great potential.Look at the detail in the core and the HII areas in the disk of M31. Best wishes and clear skies!!! That's a superb piece of work Martin - excellent detail in the dust lanes! I looked up your 'scope - interesting design - basically a 500mm f2.8 reflector with correction for the inevitable distortions that come with such a mirror, and er, it comes at a price Great stuff! Paul.
