Good stuff. Should be able to make it out myself. Will be trying some Astrophotography, so if you see someone set up a bit away from everyone's else, I promise I'm not being rude, just trying to avoid as much stray light as possible ;-)

I might sneak over and get some quick tips off you as I've been struggling with astrophotography. I think it's a lens problem more than anything. I don't think there's an expectation of group chit chat but it's just a nice place to have safety in numbers too if we're out.

Neil that's a good point about laser pointers, I hadn't thought about that! Hopefully there won't be too much use of them.
Astrom32 (sorry, I don't know your name) I'm far from an expert myself but am happy to help if I can, so pop over and say hi! What exactly are you struggling with? If all goes well I'll hopefully be doing guided imaging with my SW 80ED, aiming for 8 min exposures, possibly on M33.

Thanks for the excellent reports guys, looks like you had a fab night! We'll let the Moon go past and look at 21st/22nd or 28th/29th for the next night out. Hopefully I'll be up and walking about myself by then!
Paul.
