Hi all, The IAA observing group's next planned observing session is this weekend at our usual spot down at Delamont Country Park. The forecast for Friday isn't looking too good with high winds and rain forecast but I'll check the forecast sometime tomorrow which will be more accurate, so check this forum thread around 6pm on Friday 29th for an update on weather conditions (fingers crossed David

This entire observing season has been a damp squib. Such a shame the last time I was out was the Lunar Eclipse. From then there just hasn't been a good weekend in months for dark skies. I'm hoping we can slip in a few hours but this wind may cause problems on the road. Hoping it clears up I'm dying to try my binoculars in a nice dark sky.

Hi all, Due to adverse weather conditions and in the interest of safety on the roads, tonights observing at Delamont is cancelled. High winds and rain are to blame. Check this forum again tomorrow for an update, hopefully we'll get a few hours then!
Clear skies
David

My poor telescope is starting to worry it may be sold but it eats no grass so it can stay until I get the chance to use it again
