IAA Observing at Delamont 15th-16th January 2016

Hi all,

The IAA observing group's next planned observing session is this weekend at our usual spot down at Delamont Country Park. However please note there is also an IAA event at St Patricks Academy in Dungannon on Friday. At this point I'd like to know how many can make Delamont on Friday? btw the weather is looking reasonable for some observing on both nights. If there are enough people for Friday at Delamont, then I'm happy to proceed with that as normal, otherwise I'll cancel Friday night so we can support St Patricks Academy, and have a session at Delamont on Saturday night (I can't make Sat' night though ) (Hope that makes sense!)

the weather forecast for this weekend is predicting temperatures down to -8 by Saturday night. I'll keep an eye on the forecast and do an update before the weekend.

Hi all,
Due to adverse weather conditions and in the interest of safety on the roads, tonight and tomorrow nights observing at Delamont is cancelled. The road and car park at Delamont are not gritted as far as I know so best to postpone until next month.
It should be clear tonight but cloudy tomorrow night so wrap up if your heading out for a while!

Just out of curiosity, has the forum started to lose it's formatting for anyone else?
For myself, it doesn't seem to matter if i'm viewing on my work computer, home computer, or smartphone, for about the last month or so the forums (for me at least) are now white instead of black, and all teh formatting has gone, so everything looks a mess.

Is anyone else experiencing the same thing by any chance?

Seems to do this from time to time Ciarán - I've seen it before then it goes away after a while. It's an issue for the board owner, not something I can do anything about sadly.
