I think I should be able to go to a viewing this weekend if the weather is favourable bigeye155 I am not a member yet but intend to join at the next lecture at Queen's; if there is a telescope available then I'd love to borrow one, but I am utterly clueless about using a telescope!

Hi Theresa, Welcome to the IAA and forum! Membership is only £20, best value this side of the Milky Way As you have read, we are planning an extra session at Delamont on Friday, so you are most welcome to join us. I'm hoping Friday night will be on as I can't make Saturday. Skies have been great this week so I hope it will continue to the weekend The IAA loan scope is available to members, however someone may be be interested in borrowing it, but I'll keep you in mind when I get it back again. The meetings at QUB are always well attended with excellent talks which will get the brain cells going, then there is our superb quarterly publication "Stardust" Fingers crossed for Friday night, I'll start a new thread to confirm go/no go for this weekend. David (observing coordinator)
